Melanie draws from her vast background in Musical
Theatre to teach and encourage her young students.
Her credits include lead roles in productions of
The Sound of Music, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
and Little Women. She was the lead singer in
musical ambassador groups such as Encore and
Synergy and was the lead in The Nauvoo Adventure
for the Nauvoo Musical and Theatrical Productions
Group while serving a performance mission for the
LDS Church. She has toured the Czech Republic,
Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, Acapulco, Florida and
Chicago as a soloist with Clayton Productions. She
holds an Associates Degree and is working towards
her BA in music from UVSC.
